Amy Lehnen Zerges, M.A.

Amy Lehnen Zerges, M.A. is a learning specialist and credentialed K-12 teacher specializing in educational evaluations for children and adults.  Amy has a B.A in General Humanities from Santa Clara University and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont.  Her experience includes teaching children with learning differences in elementary and middle school at Charles Armstrong School (CAS) in Belmont and at Los Altos Christian School in the Learning Assistance Department.  Amy later worked as a Learning Specialist at Youth and Family Enrichment Services (YAFES) in San Carlos.  She also developed Amy Lehnen Zerges, M.A. and Associates in which she collaborates with psychologists to provide psycho-educational evaluations for children and adults.  Her wide range of accomplishments include co-writing a Charles Armstrong Assessment Manual, training teachers at CAS in multi-sensory learning strategies, co-developing a special education program for middle school students in the Palo Alto Unified School District, teaching assessment techniques to doctoral psychology interns at YAFES, Attending I.E.P’s and writing I.E.P plans for clients, and being a guest assistant teacher to Dr. Stephen Chou at Alliant University.
